The XCG-V is a masterpiece of style and performance featuring a titanium cup face, an ultra light magnesium crown, and a v-shaped high-density steel sole. This combination of advanced materials delivers an unprecedented ability to distribute weight within a driver head. Saving every ounce of weight, the three pieces are bonded through a revolutionary no-weld process called combo-brazing.

The V-series exhibits superb command compliments of a newly-designed heavy v-shaped sole. The engineered sole places 49% of the club's weight below the ball and in the rear corners. This advanced weighting is possible because of the driver's unique titanium cup face and magnesium crown. Two times lighter, the magnesium crown shifts more weight to the sole creating a deeper center of gravity. This use of magnesium makes the XCG the most forgiving Exotics driver ever.

Capable of producing extreme distance, the XCG-V's cup-face is a remarkable 125% larger than previous models. This engineering advancement creates a 30% bigger hot zone for impressive power even on off-center hits.

Exotics XCG-V Fairway Woods

Over the last four years Exotics fairway woods have taken the golf world by storm, winning countless awards including “2008 ClubTest Best Fairway Wood” by Golf Magazine . Continually pushing engineering boundaries, Tour Edge is bringing the 4 th generation Exotics fairway wood to market with the introduction of the highly-anticipated Exotics XCG-V series. The new V series delivers a staggering combination of power and forgiveness thanks to new advancements in design.

Setting a new standard in distance, the XCG-V's new titanium cup-face is 25% larger than previous models. This engineering advancement creates a bigger hot zone for impressive power even on off-center hits. Consistent with Exotics technology, the V-series also has an extremely low spin rate producing the optimal trajectory and maximizing length. The unique titanium cup face and hosel design is expensive feature that allows an additional 30 grams of weight to be transferred to the high-density steel sole to deliver unsurpassed feel and responsiveness.

The XCG-V reacts exceptionally well to off-center hits thanks to its perfect weight distribution: 60% of the club's weight sits below the ball and in the rear corners of the sole. This set up is achieved by the heavy high-density steel sole plate. Weighing in at 110 grams, the unique v-shape sole shifts more weight to the rear corners of the club head for greater forgiveness. The resulting center of gravity angle is extremely deep and helps the club face square at impact with more force for a quick launch and longer, more accurate shots. By far, the XCG-V has the lowest, deepest center of gravity of any Exotics fairway wood yet.

True to Exotics form, the club's “v-shaped” high density, steel sole plate is combo-brazed to its titanium cup face without welding for a more pure energy transfer. The result of all this advanced technology is nothing short of spectacular.
